The house keeper Natália
Natália is born in Seixal, Porto Moniz, where she has been living all her life. She loves planting vegetables and potatoes, this is her most treasured past time. She has been the house keeper in Casa das Videiras for the last 14 years. She is unmarried and 39 years old. Once I asked her if she is going to marry soon, she just shovelled me off with: “Men are lazy. They might drink too much, so why should I work even more just to keep an extra mouth to feed?” ------Well, that’s an opinion.
She is an honest and simple person, and please do not hesitate to ask her for help. Let her bring you some homemade cake, a tea in the afternoon and tell her how you want the eggs done for breakfast. Do you request anything else, please ask her. If she can not provide what you want, get her to contact me.
