I must say that I like it myself. I kept the old stone walls in the ground floor, and part of the first floor. For more than two hundred years they have been sheltering from winds and rain, and they have their beauty.
The ground floor, where the house had its wine cellar, was dug down and turned into a lounge. In the back is the TV room, where I am planning to disclose my friend’s old dolls collection. Then we have the dining room where also Natália will serve you breakfast. Next to this you will find the kitchen. You are free to use this if you want.
Up the stairs is the old kitchen which now is a kind of office and reception, where you can find a comfortable writing desk. Here are also the 3 rooms, room 1 (I like this best, you can close the shutters and sleep in complete darkness to late noon).
Room 2 with the best view and room 3 with no view at all (that is why this room costs less). All the rooms have in suite toilets with showers. In the garden there is a small garden cottage. Well, this is just an extra room like the rooms inside, with its private bath, but also here you have a private lounge.
When I have time I like to spend a weekend in this holiday accommodation in Madeira, with guests or friends. It is getting away from it all.
