The house keeper Filomena
Filomena is a 47 year old widow, mother of 3 and a very hard working and honest lady.
She has been in Villa Echium for the last 17 years, long before it was turned into a holiday home. She has been a house maid for foreigners before, and this is the reason that she can understand English, some German and even some Swedish.
She is now your house keeper, but she is also working in the restaurant “Stop” in São Gonçalo on the way to Funchal. Filomena is a treasure, and she is really helping me to keep the house in a good condition. She is discrete and efficient, and very helpful.
